My goal for WA1 is a B3, or an A2 if possible. I am not too confident about this WA as writing an argumentative essay as it can be pretty tricky to get the format right and thinking of ideas to write into the argumentative essay on the spot is not easy either. But I will do my best to achieve a good score. Miss Liau please help me with getting the correct format of argumentative essay and also give tips on how to make sure I don’t write out of topic for argumentative essay during exams. 😸

Reflection WA1

I did better than I expected, I didn’t expect to get 18/30 because argumentative is challenging for me as the question can be tricky to understand and I must be able to link back to the question well. I think my ideas were not bad and I could answer the question/link back pretty well.

Can improve on :

-Vocabulary (My vocabularies used are simple, I should learn and memorise a few more complicated words and use a wide range of vocabularies instead of being repetitive)

-SVA (sorry Miss Liau 😿 I will read up and learn how to use SVA properly!!)

-Use better and more general ideas (e.g. don’t just use personal examples as they are not very convincing)
