This bottle also dents easily so innovating something to get a frim grasp on the bottle would be necessary. My innovation is adding grips to a specific section of the bottle. Something that resembles a rubber sleeve but you don't have the hassle of keeping up with putting it on and taking it off to wash.

The purpose of this water bottle is to ensure that any liquid in the bottle stays colder or warmer for a longer time than any existing bottle. That being said the properties of this water bottle would have to be assigned the proper materials for good insulation. For my water bottle the part material assigned was A4 stainless steel and its total weight is 1.909 pounds. For the lid of the bottle the material assigned was hardened stainless steel. This bottle also has properties in color. The original colors were black and silver because I wanted a water bottle that I could easily personalize. However, with my CAD rendition of this bottle I made the main color of the bottle blue so it could truly be seen.

Design Process
To start the CAD model of the bottle, I sketched the bottom of the water bottle that I would extrude and add onto. Next, I extruded the bottom of the cup that the bottle’s weight settles on, so it was important that the dimensions were labeled correctly. After extruding I created a new sketch that would come to be the spout of the water bottle, perfectly centered I focused on making the actual slants and finer details of the bottle. Finally, I did the smallest details on the bottom on the bottle and then moved onto the lid. The lid of the bottle started out as a circular sketch that was extruded with another circle on top of that extruded and filleted. The hardest part of this project would be the slanting near the top of the bottle as shown in the picture below. I really enjoyed this experience of reverse engineering this bottle. This project taught me to document all of my ideas on paper and how to experiment wholly with different factors of CAD.
