Objective: Students will be able to write simple sentences.   

There are 5 basic sentence patterns:   

1. Subject + Verb                       
2. Subject + Verb + Object                 
3. Subject + Verb + Adjective             
4. Subject + Verb + Adverb                     
5. Subject + Verb + Nouns                                                                Examples                                             
 Pattern #1

Eg#2
If you are late, I'll leave without you.
I'll leave without you if you are late.
She is taller than I am.

Ayat pertama mula dengan dependent clause, maka perlu ada comma sebelum ayat seterusnya. 
Ayat kedua mula dengan independent clause(boleh berdiri sendiri), maka tak perlu comma selepas conjunction if.

Eg#3
That's the guy who shouted at me.
I have no idea what's going on.
They gave me a cake which was made from dried beetroot.

Relative clause use who,what,which,that to join setences.
