My learning experience with this ADE knowledge block was very informative and helpful in strengthening my understanding of the MTSS framework and how it is implemented in schools. The content was presented in a clear and structured way, which made it easier to follow the different components of MTSS, including universal screening, Tier 1 instruction, Tier 2 identification procedures, and progress monitoring. I appreciated how the information connected research-based practices with practical application in the classroom and school setting. One aspect that was particularly helpful was the explanation of how data should be used to identify students at risk and determine appropriate levels of support. The emphasis on using multiple data sources and progress monitoring reinforced the importance of making instructional decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. This is very valuable for educators who are responsible for ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed. The infographic and step-by-step explanations of the Tier 2 identification process were also useful because they helped clarify how schools should move from universal screening to targeted interventions. Having visual supports and clear procedures made the framework easier to understand and apply in practice. Overall, this knowledge block was a positive learning experience. It provided a strong overview of MTSS and reinforced the importance of high-quality Tier 1 instruction, data-driven decision making, and collaborative teamwork. These concepts are essential for supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of all students.

My learning experience with this ADE knowledge block was both meaningful and professionally enriching. The content was well-organized, relevant, and aligned with the real responsibilities of school leadership. I appreciated how the material connected theory to practical application, especially in areas related to instructional leadership, school law, ethical decision-making, and systems thinking. One of the strongest aspects of this knowledge block was the clarity in how expectations were presented. The objectives were clearly outlined, and the structure allowed me to understand not just what I needed to know, but why it matters in real-world practice. As an aspiring school leader, I found the alignment to Arizona standards and leadership competencies particularly valuable. It helped me see how these concepts directly translate into daily decision-making as a principal. The scenarios and examples were especially helpful. Applying the knowledge to realistic school-based situations strengthened my critical thinking and deepened my understanding. I also appreciated the emphasis on equity, legal compliance, and student-centered leadership. Those components reinforced the responsibility administrators carry in shaping school culture and ensuring safe, inclusive environments. Overall, this knowledge block strengthened my confidence and preparedness as I continue progressing toward school leadership. I value ADE’s commitment to equipping future administrators with high-quality, relevant training and appreciate the opportunity to engage with this material.
