With my values in mind, my career goals are to be a forensic psychologist. My goal is to bring my values and to be the best version of myself. Which includes being empathetic, hardworking, etc.

Academic Plan

This right here is my academic plan. Me and my advisor decided for now my major will stick to psychology with spending my electives on criminal justice until I decide if I want to double major. This will help my get my desired job.

Skilled-based Education plan

Doing this activity helped me find ways I can get involved now. I want to do research, volunteering, and an internship. I feel like getting involved in each of these will help me gain a better understanding of what I want to do. It will also help me gain professionalism.

Wellness goals

I have set health and wellness goals all throughout the semester with the help of this app Finch. Doing things like drinking water, cleaning, and eating helps take care of my bird. I plan for my goal to be to keep using this in the future. Sometimes I even make my bed just to make my bird happy. It makes taking care of yourself fun.

As for my academic goals I wanted to improve my study habits. I have done very well. I try to study around 7 hours each week. This has led to good grades for me. I also wanted to make it into honors college this year. I believe I am on the right path in order to do so.

Working as a forensic psychologist I may meet people with all different kinds of illnesses. I will be able to use empathy, knowledge, and integrity. It is fulfilling to know I could make such a big difference.

Another part of my academic plan was my minor in youth and society. I am very excited for this. I will be better prepared to talk to a younger audience. Learning about the society will also help me learn valuable information at my job.
