We want technology to support your teaching, not make things harder. To help with that, we’ve set up a few school-wide subscriptions you can jump right into—like Swank for film streaming, Quizlet for study and review, and Blooket for fun interactive games and quick checks for understanding.

Of course, those are just the start. There are tons of other tools out there that can fit different teaching styles and student needs. My job is to be your go-to person in figuring out what’s out there, what might be the best fit for you, and how to make it all work smoothly in your classroom.

Take a look at some of the resources below, and let’s connect. I’d love to help you explore and experiment!

Highlander Term is a 8-day experiential learning period at FGS where students step outside traditional classes to dive into hands-on projects, trips, and interdisciplinary learning. Rooted in the school’s four pillars: Learning Yourself and How You Learn, Risk-Taking and Innovation, Sense of Rootedness and Place, and Public Character and Active Citizenship. Highlander Term gives students the chance to explore passions, build skills, and connect their learning to the wider world.

I am a resource for you as you help students learn about themselves and how they learn best. Sometimes that looks like supporting classroom management strategies, but it can also mean providing tools and approaches that make learning more intentional and effective. Here are just a few examples:

✨ Classroom Management – Practical strategies to create a calm, structured environment that helps all learners stay focused and engaged.

📚 Study Skills Development – Techniques for note-taking, time management, and active studying so students build habits that match their learning preferences.

🧠 Metacognitive Strategies – Simple prompts and routines that encourage students to reflect on what works for them, where they struggle, and how they can adjust.

🎨 Differentiated Instruction – Ideas for offering multiple pathways to demonstrate learning so students can play to their strengths while still growing in new areas.

🪞 Self-Awareness Practices – Reflection activities, journals, or check-ins that help students recognize their progress and set personal goals.

🌱 Growth Mindset Language – Ways to frame feedback and challenges that encourage persistence, resilience, and a sense of possibility.

🤝 Collaboration Tools – Structures for group work that teach students how to work with different personalities while honoring their own learning styles.
