The kings and queens are royal by birth, they are not normal every day people. The kings and queens had vassals including nobles and knights. For the vassals service the king and queen give land in return The king and queen would have a big home called a castle witch was also used for protection when in war.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>These people were vassals of kings and are just a lower ranking than the kings. They gave the king protection and in return they got land. When a special occasion came the lower lords gave the higher lords money and they gave them food and shelter if they were on a travel. The more land the nobles received the more powerful they were.</div>]]></description>

Because they owned no land they actually are not part of the feudal system because they wouldn't be able to give others anything. They worked on fields called manors, which was controlled by one lord. They harvest all the time and barley got any rest. They lived in tiny houses with dirt floors and and beds made of hay. They were not allowed to leave the manor without permission and they had no education.<br> </div>]]></description>

Because he controlled it his word was law. The lord also collected taxes as well. In the manor the was one church, fields, a water supply, and a forest. The was also a mill and blacksmith shop as well.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>About in the year 1000, more and more towns grew and that meant the population increased as well. More and more trade happened in the town. Because trade was getting popular and the knights already had a lot of land they wanted money from there lords so they could buy goods. Later after people came back from the Crusades instead of going back to a manor, they wanted to go to towns and trade because of the tings they may have gotten on their adventure. </div>]]></description>
