It also explains that though all children born with down syndrome share the same challenges, the condition is wide ranging and comes in several different types and also present in different ways. This resource helps the teacher understand the types of Down syndrome and what causes each type of condition. It can also be helpful because even though it is easy to distinguish someone with D.S., they each experience different birth defects or challenges.
