Toddlers may experience separation anxiety, tantrums, or developmental delays. Social-emotional challenges can arise from inconsistent routines or stress, potentially impacting behavior and early learning (CDC, 2024c).

• Vaccines: Follow the CDC schedule for timely vaccinations to protect against 16 diseases, including MMR and DTaP. Consult healthcare providers for catch-up schedules if needed (CDC, 2024a; CDC, 2024b).

• Accidents: Childproof homes by securing furniture, locking cabinets, and keeping small objects out of reach. Supervise toddlers closely near stairs or water (CDC, 2024c).

• Diseases/Illnesses: Administer RSV immunization for infants under 8 months during RSV season (fall–spring) to reduce severe illness risk. Practice good hygiene, like handwashing, to prevent infections (CDC, 2024a).

• Mental/Emotional Health: Maintain consistent routines, encourage positive interactions, and monitor developmental milestones. Consult pediatricians if delays or behavioral concerns arise (CDC, 2024c).
