She was born on February 29, 1992 in a small city called Bratsk in Russia. When she was 18 months old, hemangioma took her legs. She learned to walk on prosthetic legs. Long has participated in many sports including gymnastics, cheerleading, skating, cycling, trampoline and rock climbing. She began swimming in her grandparents' pool before joining her first competitive team in 2002. Currently, she is a Paralympic swimmer. With remarkable achievements such as holding many world records and competing in 5 Paralympics, won 29 medals (including 16 gold medals). She has also won more than 50 world championship medals. I feel that the girl is a very energetic and brave person. She is not self-deprecating about herself, but stands up to prove herself. She got cerebral palsy which make her balance and coordination are affected and her also make involuntary movements all the time, making her suffer pain and annoying thing. She still strive for excellent and she did get what she deserve.
She very good in running and jumping, she got alot of medal in her best sport.
She had make alot of people who have some bad symptom to have some effort to their's work like olivia did.
