We’ve had a difficult past month and an extremely difficult week with Mom’s bout with Covid-19 and losing Lala. I just wanted to tell you again how proud I am of you and how well you’ve handled everything and how loving you have remained throughout all the hardships, uncertainty and pain. 

There are still a lot of life ahead for both of us. There may be good times and bad times. Rest assured that I will be here always to keep you safe and help you through everything. You know how much Mommy loves you and treasures you and will always be here for you. 

I want to thank you for being such a good man, for bringing so much joy everywhere you go and for being such an embodiment of God’s love to everyone you encounter. You are truly an irreplaceable treasure and the best part of our lives. 

Be proud of who you are. Keep learning and dreaming. Keep having adventures. Keep helping others. Let us follow Layla’s example and live our lives to the fullest.
