         <description><![CDATA[<div>If a high school student performing the WIDA screener scores 5.0 or below, that student qualifies as a student in need of ESL servicing. Kindergarten students that score a 25 or below on the WAPT screener are automatically enrolled in ESL services. The scores of each student should be placed in their Cum folder in regards to lawful procedure. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Transition into Former Language Learner Status</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The student receiving ESL services was previously referred to as an English Language (EL) student but has now transitioned into Former English Language Learner (FEL) status. The FEL student will be categorized according to the years exited out of ESL servicing. For instance, a student that is being monitored a year after exiting will be referred to as FEL1. Two years after ESL servicing, the FEL student is known as FEL2, etc., etc.</div>]]></description>
