For World Thinking Day our unit runs a Water Day for the district, we do kayaking, swimming and build sand castles!!! Super fun!

We joined a state event where we had 430 Guides all in a big public parkland, and did lots of activities and celebratory games with our MO Chief Commissioner and our State Commissioner so was a really great opportunity for Guides of all ages!

I celebrated World Thinking Day on February 19th with my girl guide troop in Lahore Guide House. We organized a program to mark the occasion, which was all about celebrating our friendships and the global community.

We started the day with a discussion about the theme of World Thinking Day, "Our World, Our Communities, Our Friendship," and how we can make a difference in our community. We then had a cultural exchange, where we shared traditional foods, dances, and customs from different countries.

The highlight of the day was a community service project, where we made friendship bracelets and exchanged them with our friends as a symbol of our bond. It was a wonderful feeling to know that we were connected to girls all around the world who were doing the same thing.

One of the girls said, "I loved celebrating World Thinking Day with my friends. It made me realize how connected we all are, no matter where we live." 😊

The program was a great success, and we all left feeling inspired and motivated to make a positive impact in our community. 💡

A number of guides aged 5-14 and leaders had a 100 years of Thinking Day sleepover. We celebrated by holding a pretend campfire, sharing songs, followed by colour party and friendship themed activities from the WAGGGS pack the next day. Leaders shared about their international guiding memories and girls had lots of fun! Something extra special we learned was that one of the leaders knew Olave Baden Powell and they did Sea Scouts together at this exact hall. She shared a story of the time their troop paddled up the Swan river.
