My whole project has to do with taking photos of dogs, and what I want to do is travel to a dog park, and take as many photos of dogs as I can. The story I want to get at is all dogs are unique and even if two dogs are the same breed, they look totally different. I plan on going to some sort of park to take most of these photos. Though, I have 4 dogs at home, I won’t be using any of them in the photos because I feel as if I would not be giving the photo shoot justice. My plan is to try and find 10 different dog breeds, and range in a variety of sizes. This would include Small breeds like shih tzus, medium breeds like pit bulls, and larger breeds like huskies or anything similar like that. The time that I will shoot in would be during the daytime, and I will try to capture as many portraits I could possibly do. The thing with taking photo of dogs would be that they are very sporadic, meaning that the perfect shot could be lost if they decide to move. That’s why I plan to take multiple of the same dog in order to ensure I get that perfect shot eventually. Last but not least, I hope to take photos in a very fast shutterspeed since dogs move a bunch, so it would be easier for me to get that shot off. With all these photos I am going to take, my mood board would hopefully be similar to that with mostly portraits of dogs with a blurry background. I will mostly take photos with a large aperture so it can mostly be focused on the dog, while everything in the background would be blurry.
