There are multiple possible causes of Hearing impairments. some include:

damage to the inner ear- Aging and loud noise can damage the hairs or nerve cells in the cochlea, affecting the transmission of sound signals to the brain and causing hearing loss.

Buildup of earwax- Earwax buildup over time can block the ear canal, hindering the passage of sound waves. Removing earwax can aid in restoring hearing.

Ear infections, unusual bone growths, or tumors- In the outer or middle ear, any of these can cause hearing loss

Ruptured eardrum, also known as tympanic membrane perforation- Loud noise, abrupt pressure changes, ear trauma, and infections can lead to the rupture of the eardrum.
