Two female flight attendants were used in the media coverage. They were not there for any other purpose than decoration. Virgin Australia could have used male flight attendants and/or pilots. Why was there a need to use females flight attendants? He was stumped, and tried to explain that it's just how it goes. He tried changing some of them to 'your papa' or 'your brother ', but he had to think about every one.

It basically says that only woman should shop and that men should be able to relax and play instead of doing adult chores.

I am HR and it is my job to screen and interview the candidates. on the day I had my colleague and the company General manager Jason with me. - keep In mind I was the candidates only point of contact through the whole process until the day when Jason joined the interview.
long story short...
I contacted an unsuccessful candidate and advised him of the outcome. he proceeded to ask why we went with someone else and not him etc, then cut himself short and said "oh sorry thats not you area / job, ill ask Jason" ------- an hour later I had responded to his request, to which he responded wth a incredibly long message asking me to go on a date with him and how he was dumbstruck and wasn't focussed on the interview and only focussed on me and my looks.

After having our tea I mentioned that it was time to clean and do the dishes, where my son said 'Let's play 1950's - doing dishes is women's work. Get back into the kitchen where you belong!' Although this was said as a joke I pointed out 'Hey it's 2018 - equal opportunity - YOU get in the kitchen and do the work on your own!' I don't think that it was the reaction my son was expecting. He then apologised for his comment and informed me that it was only a joke. I also observed the same male manager greet a male staff member with "hello how are you?"
