Yumi was able to put two moral appeals in the conclusion, but not in the rest of the essay. She also had one emotional appeal which appeared in the introduction. Although she was able to present a lot of evidence and statistics, they were not used in logical appeals to reach out to and connect with the audience.

Logical appeal was clearly evident throughout her essay since she used statistics. Emotional appeal was also there especially in the beginning where she provided an overview of Danica's, a drug war victim, story which would sadden any reader and make the readers want to do something about the issue .
