-Australian Aboriginal have conceived a sacred geography. According to their tradition, the beings of the "time of dream" have shaped the forms of the world. Uluru is one of them. The rock is one of the points of the path traveled by the ancestors at the time of the dream, period of the formation of the world. This path was traveled annually by various tribes in order to perpetuate the memory and stimulate the spirits

-There is a lot of legend attached to this place, like the one that says that the people who take away the rocks of Uluru will be cursed and suffer misfortunes and that according to legend, some brought the stones by picket to stop the misfortunes that touch them. Another legend tells that Uluru  was built during the period of creation by two boys who played in the mud after the rain. When they finished playing, they travelled south to Wiputa.Fighting against each other, they headed for the Conner tabular mount, at the top of which their bodies are preserved in the form of rocks.

It is known for its thousands of calcareous rock concretions, natural menhirs of varying size and shapes, which arise from the ground and whose highest can reach four meters.

-Natives have called the area “Nambung”, which means “twisted”. This is the river that runs through the park during the winter. It is last say that in this place the young men of the devil should not come by they would disappear into the sand. But some did not listen and the Pinnacles would be formed from their fingers when they were trying to get out of the sand

-A legend states that concretions were formed as a result of the sank and were buried in crustal rocks, their roots served as underground water pipes, which caused the precipitation of hard chemical minerals.
