This article discusses how President Trump acted as commander-in-chief by giving the orders to assassinate a top Iranian General who was believed to pose a threat to American interests in the region of the Middle East. The president is vested with the power to authorize force when acting in this role. There is debate whether Trump should have made this order, but alas, this is an example of the President acting as Commander-in Chief.
