I would describe myself in these three words; Honest, trustworthy, and understanding.
2. Something that makes me unique is that I’m a easy person to talk to, and I understand people well. I’m also very honest which makes people more comfortable to talk to me since I won’t make them feel like I don’t understand them. I feel like I’m creative in my own way, my imagination is crazy and I express that in my writing. Most of the time I am independent as well, I don’t like asking for help from others.
3. Some defining moments in my life were when I would fail a test, my mom would yell at me and that makes up for my character right now since I don’t give up, I like to give my all. When I completed 8th grade I felt proud, but knew I had more ahead of me. When my grandfather died, I felt pain for my mom because she was really sad, but I really wish I had gotten to meet him. The first time I went on a rollercoaster I was scared, but once I got off it I realized why people compare it to life; because there is many unexpected ups and downs.
4. My best quality as a person is being positive in situations where things get tough. If there is a negative problem I try to calm people down and reassure them. I don’t like to give up, and I’m stubborn which comes in handy sometimes. I am also very truthful, which is good since most people lie and it’s better off to be honest.
5. If I could compare myself to an animal, I would compare myself to a bunny. I’m nice and shy, but once you get to know me I’m a great person. It’s hard for me to trust people since I need time to feel secure just like bunnies. I am easily stressed about things around me, I feel pressured to do things at a certain time or else I won’t get it right.
6. If I could meet any historical figure it would be Tupac. The way he spoke passionately really stood out to me. I would love to meet him to learn his values on life. Medusa, 120 BCE - 455, The Classical Period

2. WHY WAS THIS MONSTER FEARED?

Medusa was feared because when people would look at her they would turn to stone. She has serpents for her hair which gives her a very scary look as well. Most people find her evil for this and are scared to look at her, even think about her. Even if they looked at her by accident, they would turn to stone. Many had fears because of that.

3. ABILITIES OR POWERS OR SKILLS

Medusa had the ability to turn anyone who looked at her into stone.

Medusa is best known for her story of how she turned into a monster. In history books we learn about the story of how she is turned into a monster with the ability to turn people into stone. We learn about how Athena put a curse on her and made her into a serpent monster. There are also pictures of Medusa before and after she has turned into the snake headed serpent.
5. IS THIS REALLY A MONSTER?

In the Greek times, Medusa was portrayed as a monster and seen as one but in my opinion, I don’t think she was a monster. She was merely the victim. Based on the story of the curse that Athena had given Medusa, it tells us that Medusa hadn’t done anything wrong to be turned into this monster. She was given the power to turn people into stone and was turned into a monster and given a hideous look. She hadn’t done anything bad to be turned into a monster, she was punished for someone else’s actions. I don’t think she really was a monster.

2. WHY WAS THIS MONSTER FEARED?

This monster was feared due to his appearance. Many people thought he was hideous, and were afraid because of that reason. It wasn’t just his ugliness that scared people though, he was insanely strong as well.

Frankenstein was very strong, and he was built to be huge.

There is a book made about Frankenstein, and his story on how he was made. The book tells us about how a creature was formed, and leads to all the rumors and fears of him.

5. IS THIS REALLY A MONSTER?

I don’t think Frankenstein was really a monster. He was based off of a human creation and he had no intention to become that way. He was just made that way. I think that the real monster was the person who actually made Frankenstein. They wanted to control and have a superior role by making a monster from past life, and not to use the monster for any good. Frankenstein is more like the one who got heartbroken after hearing that the person who made him didn’t care about Frankenstein, and just wanted power.

Godzilla is seen a lot in books, and movies. There are also lots of myths about him, and the story of how he was created by an atomic bomb failure.

5. IS THIS REALLY A MONSTER?

I think that Godzilla is a monster, but he doesn’t have that intention to be a monster. Based on the story of how he was created, it was due to atomic bombs being used and made Godzilla form from a mutation. He isn’t a good monster, but he isn’t that bad afterall. He doesn’t care about Humans at all, but if something on earth is threatening him, he will choose to fight with humans to get rid of that threat. He was made to be a replacement of atomic bombs, but turned out to be worse.
