- Test anxiety is a psychological condition in which people experience extreme distress and anxiety in testing situations.
- Some symptoms of test anxiety can be physical and cognitive. Some physical symptoms are sweating, shaking, rapid heartbeat, dry mouth, fainting, and nausea. Some cognitive symptoms are memory problems, difficulty concentrating, and negative self-talk.
- Test anxiety can not be treated but can be controlled. Things that might help can be to get plenty of sleep a night before, have a good meal before the test, make sure you take brakes between studying, exercise and get the frustration out, take deep breaths during the test.
