Being able to get a tour of this historic and life changing school was incredible. I loved learning about the school and it's history. When we used our free time to go inside of it, a Mass was going on. It was so beautiful. The music, the language and all the people made it feel like a very sacred place. I was able to buy my grandma some souvenirs from here that she loved as well. On the inside they showed a timeline of how this structure was built, and it is crazy it started in the 1100's. I just stood there in awe and I wasn't ready to leave. I was so excited to learn some French Sign Language. The workshop we did was so fun and I learned a lot! It was extremely busy. Every room was very colorful and had a definite theme. My favorite room is the one pictured, I loved all the chandeliers and the mirrors. This room also looked out onto the gardens which was beautiful as well. Walking all those stairs up to the ruins was worth it. The view of the city below made the burning calves well worth it. I enjoyed Versailles, but I almost liked the gardens and her village more because of how beautiful it all was. There was so much to explore outside, and it took so long to get there, we didn't get to see nearly all of it. I was really nervous going into it, and there were a few moments on the inside where I wanted to turn back. But once we were done, I was so proud of myself for getting through it! It was very creepy but also very cool on the inside. The structure was so big, in a peaceful way. The light colors and how open it was made it so fun to explore. The gardens that were on the opposite side of the entrance were beautiful as well.
