The story is about a boy and a tree. Every day the boy climbs the tree, eats the tree's apples, and sleeps in the tree's shade. Both the boy and the tree are happy.

As the boy grows older, he changes. He wants more from the tree. Each time the boy visits, the tree gives him everything she can, including all her apples, branches and her trunk. Gradually, the tree has nothing left to give the boy but an old slump. When the boy becomes an old man, he finally realises the importance of the tree.

Although the ending is a bit sad, it is a touching story. I would like to recommend the story to you all:D

Recently，I have read a fantastic book called ‘The Hour of Magic’ . I read the first page and didn’t seem to be able to put it down again until I’d finished the whole thing.This book is about Geronimo Stilton was amazed to find himself in the Kingdom of Fantasy for another exciting adventure. Blossom,Queen of the Fairies need his help—time itself was under threat ！Something evil was making the magical Tick Tock Time piece spin faster and faster. It was causing Blossom to age at an alarming rate...and if she perished, so would the entire Kingdom of Fantasy! It was up to Geronimo Stilton to restore time and harmony to the land. With the help of his friends,Geronimo got through it .

My favourite character is Blossom， Because she is extremely kind and caring. From this book，I learned the importance of time. Time is precious，Nothing can stop it，and no one can buy it.

Above all,I sincerely recommend all of you to take time And read this wonderful book.

Jack’s Tale

The story is called ‘Jack’s Tale’. It is about Jack and the giant.

One day, Jack brings his cow to the market. On the way, he meets a little man. The little man uses five magic beans to buy the cow. Then, Jack goes home with the magic beans. His mum is furious. She throws the beans out the window.

During the night, the magic beans grow and grow. The next day, Jack sees a tall beanstalk. He climbs it. At the top, he finds a castle. Then, Jack goes inside the castle. In the castle, Jack sees a giant and a goose. The goose can lay a golden egg. Jack steals the goose when the giant was asleep. But the giant wakes up. He chases after Jack. Jack scrambles down the beanstalk and call his mum to bring the ax. Jack uses the ax to chop the beanstalk. The giant falls down and breaks his leg.

Jack tells his mum the truth. His mum fixed the giant’s leg. And she promises the giant she will give him back the goose when he goes back to the castle. The giant is healed, he goes back to the castle. Always the dinnertime, the giant jumps down and eats dinner with Jack and his mum.

The story is interesting and meaningful. The story teaches us that we should be honest and treat others well. And, my favourite character is the goose because it can lay out golden eggs. I recommend this book to all of you because this book is wonderful.

My name is Coco. I'm from 6D. Here is my favorite book from LightSail, Chocolate Chips and Chopsticks. The book is great and I hope you already too.
It's about three friends,Deshaun,Travis and Derrick. They set up a World Record Club.
That day they were trying to break their first record. They were trying to eat the most chocolate chips using chopsticks in a minute. After some conversation , they chose Travis. It was because he love Chinese food and he had a lot of experience using chopsticks.The boys got some chopsticks and Travis had eaten everything with them.
After sometimes he felt already. They had to film the record beging broken. This would be proof. Before they started the camera,Travis practiced. Then they started. When he had done , they cheered and hugged.Travis had set the world record！
The three friends were planning for another world record. And they couldn't wait anymore.

The Magic Finger

This story call ‘The Magic Finger’. The writer is Roald Dahl.

The story is about a eight-year-old girl live in the farm next to Mr Gregg, Mrs Gregg, Philip Gregg and William Gregg’s house. If someone make the girl cross, she will put the magic finger on them .

One day, The Gregg made her so cross that she started shouting at them. The boys laughed and made face at her. She was so cross and put the magic finger on them all.

In the next day morning, they saw they looked like a bird. Then, four enormous ducks took their house. Later, they shot at them. They were scared and promise never shoot another duck again. Finally, their wings have gone. Mr Gregg changed his name from Gregg to Egg.

I think this book is interesting and funny. My favourite character is the girl who have a magic finger because she is brave.

Recently,I read a book in Lightsailed.The name of the book is
Can you imagine for winning over 1000 games?Pat Summitt is an amazing coach!Her basketball team won 1098 games and only lost 208.This is the best record ever.Neither men’s team nor women’s team coaches have won so much like Pat Summitt.
Pat born in a farm in 1952 .She has three older brothers.They would play basketball inside the family barn.When she was in the high school,she play basketball.After that,she became a coach in 1987.
