Buddhism is the practice of enlightenment. It is all about your purpose and balance. In Buddhism, everything you do affects your after life. It is believed that once you reach enlightenment you ascend. Reincarnation is also a big part of this religion. It is believed that we are the universe experiencing itself through different forms and lives. Everything is interconnected and a part of something bigger.

Yoga is not to be mistaken with a religion. It is used in multiple practices, most notably Buddhism and Jainism. It is a series of physical and mental practices that can help with connecting the mind body and soul into one.

What do these practices all have in common? Unity. All religions, including Christianity, Pagans, Hinduism, Jainism etc, have one common goal. To be whole. Humans crave unity and companionship, community. These religions not only provide a safe space for people to express what they believe, but they also create new and enriching ways to connect to the universe and yourself.

A big commonality between Indian religions is reincarnation. The belief that this life is not the end. there will be enlightenment, there will be a new beginning. It is about chances.

Although these religions have a lot in common, there is also a lot different. The way our lives "end" for these religions are very different. Some believe once you die you go to heaven or hell. Some believe in reincarnation and living all the lives to the fullest. Some believe in reincarnation for karmic purposes, because of how you chose to live this life, your next life will either be good or bad.

I think the thing about any religion that makes me think is that we are all trying to think about the next life, or what happened when we die, when we could be focusing on living our best possible life here, where we KNOW we are real.

I am not sure what I'd call my beliefs. I believe in everything. I believe every religion has got something right, in fact I think they are all right and wrong at the same time. I personally believe we are the universe experiencing itself through different lives. In my belief we are all god. WE create our own perception of reality, so we create our perception of the afterlife. Whatever we believe is the truth, is the truth. Who says there has to be one answer? Why not all? Why not none? I love meditating and keeping my body and soul connected to the earth, it's important for me to realize my soul CHOSE to experience what I'm experiencing. My soul chose the way I look, my soul chose who to love, what heartbreaks I'd have, what I'd grieve, what makes me laugh. it is all unique to ourselves.
