Penzu is used more to present ideas and communicate information.

Padlet does not have as much freedom for users and does not include the same features.  Penzu has more features and lets you express your ideas differently.

Padlet lets you see everybody's ideas at the same time.  Penzu is your own ideas at one time in a presentation.
