I am so far proud of my lesson plans in which I can garner my students' respect. Each time I present a lesson plan, I take note of what the students engaged with versus what they were confused of. I am continuously evolving my lesson plans to fit the needs of my students and for that, I am proud.

So far I am very proud of my lesson hooks. The students are always very engaged and eager to share their thoughts and ideas. I have a very chatty Grade 5 class, but our conversations are always relevant to the topic we are discussing or going to discuss further. Also, lesson planning used to take me a couple of days to complete, and now I can do it in one day or even a couple of hours.

Thus far in my practicum experience, I am very proud of the "Minds-On" components I have cultivated as part of my lessons. I find it difficult at times to gain the full attentiveness of my Grade 7 class, however, an effective "hook" as fostered collaboration among students and generated discussions that I have been honoured to observe and be a part of.

I am proud of the fact that I am working hard to be organized, and creating a detailed lesson plan that outlines everything from materials, to teaching methods, to timing. Having a well-structured plan gives me the confidence to walk into the classroom knowing that I have thought through all aspects of the lesson.

The main aspect of my lesson planning that I am proud of is ensuring that the material is engaging and encourages students to critically engage with the content throughout my lessons. Additionally, I take pride in reflecting after each lesson, considering ways to improve or adjust it to make it even better for the next time.

how efficient I have become - taking less time to create my plans
how detailed I have learned to make them - without explaining too much & making it repetitive
how organized I have made my plans - consistently use the same outline
how I use visual aids in my lesson plans so myself or another teacher can easily read & direct the class
