One way to prevent it we could have city limits that would lessen the amount of people in the big cities. Something that would prevent the pollution could be using safer resources that don't harm the environment. Another way to prevent pollution is to not use gas powered cars, but use solar and electric cars, we already have the technology but not many people use them because people are selling them for way to much.
