What does the notion ‘urban justice’ mean?</strong> <br><br>Moral dimension in practice, ‘Right to the City’ – even opportunities for everyone – recognition of diversity without exclusion</div><div> </div><div>Linked with three main terms: <strong>deliberative democracy</strong> (people’s views are informed by their interaction with others, they don’t have fixed preferences, everyone should have a say without a privileged hierarchy), <strong>diversity</strong> (shifting from fair distribution to ‘social differentiation without exclusion’ – not homogeneity and assimilation), and <strong>equity</strong> (highlighting the tensions of how to manage democratic access – linked with text ‘Conviviality, Rights, and Conflict in Africa’s Urban Estuaries’ moving away from equality – non discriminatory) <br><br><strong>Q2.
