A way that teachers can use for diverse populations is to differentiate the assignment for students by assigning certain slides to students depending on their levels. Flipgrid is a great resource to be used for differentiation. Teachers can give students a prompt: a math problem, a discussion question, a comprehension question, etc, and students record themselves answering the questions. Students can use their cameras to display the work they did and explain their thinking. This can be set to allow only the teacher to see the responses or the whole class.  This gives students who don't like to speak up in class a chance to share their knowledge in a safe environment.

I would use this to differentiate instruction by giving students 2 Math problems to answer and record their responses. I would make sure that students know that they need to explain their thinking and show the camera what they did to solve. I wouldn't tell students how I want them to solve the problems but instead tell them that they can solve in any way the want.

I would use this activity to help with individualized learning by analyzing how students did on a certain task and then assigning them something else based on their needs. For example: I would assign a measurement activity to my whole 4th grade class. I would then look at the results and assign a new task to those who understand the measurement activity. I would also assign another measurement activity to those who need a little extra support. Bulb is an app that teachers can use to create students' portfolios.  Teachers can give a project to their students and give them options for how to complete it.  Teachers can also embed resources like videos, articles, website links, and rubrics.  Bulb also saves and organizes student work so teachers can share work and chart growth with parents.

One way to use this resource to differentiate instruction would be to assign a project and give the students several options to complete the assignment. An example would be a California Missions project in which students can do a Slides presentation, report, video presentation, or make a model.  Students will be engaged because they will have a choice on how to show their knowledge that will let them be creative and play to their strengths.

Teachers can use Peardeck to build lesson slides. Teachers can build their own lessons or choose a lesson that has been premade. Teachers can put a keyword into the search engine and find a lesson that can be adapted to fit the needs of all students.

A way that I would use Peardeck to  differentiate instruction would be to assign a Newsela article for students to complete. When students complete the assignment, they read the article and complete activities to show they understand what the article is about. Students have the option of making drawing to show what they know or writing about the article. Students will be engaged because
it allows students a choice to show what they know.

A way that this can be used in a virtual classroom would be in conjunction with a reading group.
