Importance of teamwork introduction paragraph 'We know that the individual is weak, but we also know that the whole is strength.' said by Marx. Team or group work play a vital role around us. I love team work because i can focus more and understand deeper on one aspect of the work. Besides, i can improve my abilities while working with others. Furthermore, groups can come up with more ideas and make better decisions than individuals.

First of all, work in team can divide the amount of work and make us focus more and deeper on one aspect of the work. It will be obvious to see if we make a hypothesis. For example, if our homework contains 3 topics for us to search. Think about it, if we do it by ourselves, it may take a lot time for us to know well on each of them. Maybe we can only gain some understanding on the surface of them. But if we work in groups of 3, each one choose one topic to focus on. In this situation, we can focus the knowledge on our topic and understand it deeper and better. After that, we can share our research with others, so we can know the other two topics well as well. With no doubt it will be nice and better if we can work with other.

Furthermore, groups can come up with more ideas and make better decisions than individuals. A perfect example of this is Stasser and Titus used an experimental design based on the hidden profile task. This is an example of the type of “hidden profile” that was used by Stasser and Titus (1985) to study information sharing in group discussion.Students read descriptions of two candidates. The first time, each of them read different information about candidate A and same information about candidate B. they shared information together and choosed more positive qualities candidate A. However, in same case, another group of students didn't share the information, and only 18% of the groups chose A. Because the group members did not share the information about Candidate A, but all of Candidate B's information was shared among them. In this case, Candidate B was erroneously seen as a better choice. Obviously, the group members are also more likely than individuals to notice and correct mistakes that can harm sound decision making.

In addition, i can improve my abilities while working with others. Group work helps us learn how to work with people outside our circle of friends, including those who have different backgrounds and experiences. For example, when I first came to the school in Australia, none of them are my friends and some of them seemed don't like to talk to me. One time we were working on the Geometry AA, we need to work in groups. I was in group with a girl i have never talked before. But after working together, i find her wasn't a serious person but an interesting person. She found me not a dull person--that kind of people don't like to talk or make jokes. She and i became very good friends since we have done the AA. This group work gave both of us a chance to know each other. We can even learn how to work with those who disagree with them, and others they might not “like” or want as friends. Clearly, by working with others, we can improve out abilities in teamwork and make new friends.

In conclusion, team work is important for the success and we should learn to work well with others. "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." said by Helen Keller. Teamwork can make us work more efficiently and understand well. Because we only need to focus on the part we are in responsible for. Also, it can develop our abilities to deal with different personality types of people. Additionally, Collaboration within a group can help solve difficult problems. It is a good opportunity for the team to exchange ideas and come up with creative ways of doing things. By working together, teams can find the solutions that work best. 'We know that the individual is weak, but we also know that the whole is strength.' I agree with what Marx said, working together can make us stronger.
