Something fun and interesting for the classroom is pushing against conventions and not teaching the way the children expect to be taught. Acting silly engages the children to another degree. Simply acting like someone else “someone funny” or “someone silly” is hard for the children to even process because they’re so used to you in “teacher mode”.
Act completely different, as long as you have reminded the class to always treat “classroom guest's” with respect, and then come in and allow them to ask as many questions as they want.
For example/ a character in a book or movie the class is learning about.
A fun question and answer activity.

A starry night / leaving art open to interpretation

I would like you to incorporate shape and the sky.
The shape you are going to use is a circle and the pattern you are going to use is a swirl. I would like you to use these to create a piece that you would name “a starry night”
Have children show their piece,
And at the END of the lesson, present them with Van Goghs work.

Promotes Gaeilge conversation, as a class come up with different conversational questions that you can ask in a lesson, no matter the topic. Write these questions down and practise them. Put them into a shoe box and the children can pick out a note with the question at the start of the lesson.
