         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tai chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.<br><br></div><div>Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.<br><br></div><div>Tai chi has many different styles. Each style may subtly emphasize various tai chi principles and methods. There are variations within each style. Some styles may focus on health maintenance, while others focus on the martial arts aspect of tai chi.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Chang Sanfeng (1247- unknown) first studied at Shao-Lin, the buddhism temple and the source of nearly all the Chinese Kong-Fu, for about 10 years,&nbsp; then he traveled all over China, learned from Taoism and then settled in Wudang Mountain. He is a great master and recluse in Chinese history, as respected as the founder of all inner martial art, which is called Wudang Chuan. Wudang and Shao-Lin are the two major Kongfu styles in China, one is called inner Kongfu, another outer.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; He initiated Tai-Chi at his late years (but it is said he lived for 130 years). After he created Tai-Chi, it is not publicly taught, but as an esoteric technique. This was passed for several generations, and there was talent people in every generation, known or unknown by the public.<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>An: Sinking<br>The An movement is to sink with both hands. It creates a downward movement of energy capable of unbalancing the opponent who will try to counter it.<br><br>Lie: Split<br>The Lie movement is to push upward diagonally. It is a combination of the Peng and Ji techniques, which seek to split the opponent's energy.<br><br>Lu: Stretch<br>The Lu movement is an inward movement of the arm. It refers to the ability to yield to any attack of the opponent, directing his energy until he loses his balance.<br><br>Kao: Shoulder strike<br>The Kao movement is to lean forward or use the shoulder in various ways. It is the third line of defense, using the whole body to fill the opponent's void when we cannot use our hands or elbows. This translates into an effective shoulder strike.<br><br>Ji: Pressing<br>The Ji movement is to press with both hands. It is the basic energy of the attack, projecting even greater power than Peng, without the need to use our weight.<br><br>Zhou: Elbow strike<br>The Zhou movement is to use the elbow in various ways. The elbow is used as a second line of defense, either to free the hand or to deliver an elbow strike to the opponent.<br><br>Peng: Rejecting<br>The Peng movement is an outward and upward movement of the arm. It is developed from the center outward to protect and repel. It serves both as a defense (absorbing energy) and as an attack (expanding the absorbed energy).<br><br>Cai: Pulling downward<br>The Cai movement is to pull downward diagonally. It is a combination of Lu and An techniques.</div>]]></description>

This movement is used to shorten the distance with the opponent.<br><br>Tui: Backward<br>The Tui movement is to move backward with the back foot. This movement is used to increase the distance between the performer and the opponent.<br><br>Gu: Step to the left<br>The Gu movement means to advance sideways by the blind part of the body. It means to step forward with the back area.<br><br>Pan: Step to the right<br>The Pan movement means to withdraw sideways through the open part of the body.<br><br>Ding: Central balance<br>The movement means to remain stable or central (in balance), at a point where peace and harmony are found.<br><br></div>]]></description>
