         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the pre-operational stage, a child can not tell the difference in quantity of something if the item being observed does not look exactly alike. A little girl counted 5 pennies in two rows that were the same length and came to the conclusion that the rows were equal, but when one of the rows were spread out, she felt as if the longer row had more.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the concrete operational stage, children are capable of thinking way more critically. A test that was done measuring juice in different size glasses was done in the pre-operational stage and not able to be solved The same test was done on a child in the concrete operational stage and the child was able to realize the size of the cup did not affect the amount of juice in it.</div>]]></description>
