In the modern era sophisticated technology such as chemical fertilisers are becoming more popular. A segment of people believes that those chemical components are harmful to human physical health and they have a negative effect on the local community. For this essay, I am going to totally disagree with this statement and <s>argue </s> prove ("sociologists argue that inequalities in industrial societies are being reduced") that chemical fertilisers are being used for the good. (This essay totally disagrees with that statement.) Because of my experience in agriculture <s>(aggregate field)</s> I am aware that it is nearly impossible to grow plants without chemical intervention and clearly understand how people tend to believe in urban myth.

Use of chemical fertilisers has been widely spread practice throughout farmers for decades now. (I would add one more general sentence here, an explanation one) I grew up on a farm and <s>was </s>(Present Perfect, why?) surrounded by experienced <s>agriculturists </s>agriculturalists my entire life. Nevertheless, my family received many <s>jugging</s> judgemental comments about how we <s>grow</s> food from our neighbour who was an amateur in this field. (Nevertheless, my family received many judgemental comments from our neighbour on the process of growing our food, even though the lady was just an amateur in this field) She said that she was going to prove that it is possible to do that without any “toxic chemicals”. (Too many 'that' in one sentence: She was determened to prove us that agriculture could flourish without apllying any non-organic chemicals.) Months later, unsurprisingly, her harvest was not good (satisfactry) at all. Some of her plants had given fruit four weeks after ours did, but the majority died before even blooming. Now she realised her mistakes and regularly take advice from my family.

Unfortunately, my neighbour is not the only one that believes in urban myth. My close friend who has a degree in biochemistry has told me how they unintentionally poison themselves by trying to replace chemical fertilisers with natural ones. (Try to transmorm this first sentence into less personal neutral statement to make it sound as a topic sentence: Unfortunately, a massive part of society are influenced by such an urban myth that chemical fertilizers could be effortlessly replaced by natural ones.) Many unscrupulous manufacturers are using this popularity of all organic as an opportunity to sell their illegal products. Because they aren’t considered synthetic, they haven’t been properly checked and tested by specialists. This is causing the market to be filled with truly harmful products. So (As a result, - would sound more firmal) by avoiding safe fertilisers people by accident created a demand for virulent ones. (And a personal example would be appropriate here in the end of the paragraph)

In conclusion, modern technology like (such as - more formal) fertilisers are essential to grow safe for <s>consuming</s> consumptiton or safely consumed bio products and they are much <s>safer</s> (repetition) more reliable than untested organic innovation.

My way of conclusion:

In conclusion, modern civiliazation with multiple developing countries still suffering from famine crucially requires thriving harvest. It means that the crops have to be raised rapidly and in huge amount. Unfortunatelly, the resistence of plants is reducing each year while new pests and undesirable weeds tend to appear more and more frequently. All from the above pushes our society to apply new chemicals in order to win this harvest battle. In my humble opinion, it could be won only with the help of fertilizers because they guarantee relative consumption safety as well as rich outcome. Unfortunately, organic soil additives have not been developed enough and won`t be helpful on a large scale.

It’s a bit too long, but I tried my best :)
