Last week we went to Bahrain National Museum.
Now enjoy the museum,

The Bahrain National Museum was officially inaugurated by the late Amir H.H. Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa on 15 December 1988. It was considered one of the finest museums of its kind in the Gulf region. Today, the Bahrain National Museum is one of the island’s main cultural landmarks.

Conceived and designed by Krohn and Hartvig Rasmussen, the outstanding building is characterized by its white travertine marble facade and is centrally located on an artificial peninsula overlooking the island of Muharraq. The museum complex is composed of two connected buildings with approximately 20,000 square metres of floor space. The main building houses the permanent exhibition area, temporary exhibition halls, an art gallery, a lecture hall, gift shop and café. The administrative offices, curatorial research areas, conservation laboratories, exhibition construction and collection storage areas are located in the administrative building.

The Museum is the repository of 6000 years of Bahrain’s history. The story of Bahrain comes to life in the Halls of Graves, Dilmun, Tylos and Islam, Customs and Traditions, Traditional Trades and Crafts, and Documents and Manuscripts. The exhibition halls, located on the ground and first floors, are accessed by the grand foyer, a large dramatic space accented by shafts of natural light, which hosts the exhibition, “Investing in Culture”

Last week I went on a school visit to Bahrain National Museum . It`wonderful and great . It was many historical things . We saw gold coins , silver plates , potterys and gold rings . We had a great time .

1.Last week our teacher took us to the Bahrain National Museum in Manama .
2.The museum is located in an amazing building.
The museum is huge and wonderful. we stay there all the day.
3.We looked many things like old coins, skeleton of dinosaurs, old car of sheikh Isa and more. We bought some nice things from there. Our teacher took nice photo for all students.
4.We had a great time ,If you visit Manama do not miss this place.

last week I went to Bahrain national museum. Its a big place located at Manama and was opened in 1988.the museum ahs a lot of stuff back from over 4000-5000 years ago of Bahrain history.
it had photos of old houses and stuff.
u will understand a lot of Bahrain history if u go there because I learned a lot of thing in there.
there isa cafeteria and it had good food too. lastly there is a memorable from a gift shop.

Bahrain National museum is the largest and one of the oldest public museums in Bahrain. Located in the capital Manama and was opened in 1988. The museum posesses a large collection of old artifacts, covering over 5000 years of Bahrain's history from Dilmun to pre industrail era.

Aside from the being a source of knowledge and understanding of the history, the museum also promotes global culture to the locals through numerous exhibitions, and art expos.

Last year I went to Bahrain National Museum with my class. It is in Manama.

The Museum is one of most important places in Bahrain. It is very big and you can't see everything even if you stay all day. It is amazing and beautiful places that you can see expensive old historical things it tells us about the history of Kingdom of Bahrain.

As we entered the museum we saw old fashioned cars and engines. We saw the traditional clothes and traditional food of Bahraini people. We saw a lot of Pearl Necklace and the big nice pearl ships. Our teachers showed us the silver jewelry shops and oil paintings. We also saw some old silver coins and we saw old graves. When we finished our tour, we went to the museum shop where we bought some souvenirs. After that, we took some great photos whole class outside the museum. At the end we went to the cafeteria and had a meal.

We had a great time at the museum. It is a wonderful place.
