Is there any sessions mandated for international students to attend prior to commencing their course? Things like orientation to the area, orientation to academic learning in the UK, info re accessing academic learning? It would be beneficial to get a sense of how students are being supported to prepare for courses.

I would like to know about how education is delivered at HEI's in West Africa to get an understanding of what some of our students may be used to in terms of teaching styles. I understand teaching styles likely to be diverse but if any glaring differences between there and here that may be helpful to unit planning.
