Charla vivir en ciudad

Fue una charla controversial para mí. Siento que las conversas sobre vivir en ciudad deberían ser entorno a como habitar la ciudad, y respetar las formas de habitarla en diversidad.

Me pareció interesante el tema de la educación pluriclasista y cómo esto puedo ayudar a mejorar problemas de confianza en la sociedad. Hay que tener en cuenta, como lo dijo Mauricio, que esto no va a solucionar los problemas de desigualdad en nuestra sosciedad. Pero si creo que puede mitigar esa indiferencia, miedo y desconfianza que existen mutuamente entre los ciudadadanos

Me llamó mucho la atención el hecho de que expusieron el concepto de ciudadanía como un ideal al que toda sociedad debería procurar, pero que debido al miedo y la desconfianza preventiva estamos lejos de alcanzar. Sí considero que, a pesar de que el modelo de educación pluriclasista que se propuso no llegue a cambiar las discrepancias sociales, sí nos puede llegar a hacer más sensibles los unos con los otros.

The theme of the conversation is something that I found interesting but what was said by the speakers was not enriching for me, nor did it generate any reflection. Because although the political and economic power and freedom before the French Revolution belonged to a few, that is, to the rich and private, after that there was a change, the private became public, there was a democratization. And to say that such rich people have and can study in good public universities because they have certain economic power and that this makes them of quality has nothing to do with the quality of the university itself, since there is a democratization of it.

Well, there were some interesting points they had on their arguments which I liked and agreed, for example the strength of education to close people from different experiences of life (cultural, status, etc), even though it is just an small step to reduce the huge gap that exists between classes. But it can be hard, because families on their houses also has a lot power above their integrants and can reproduce a lot of stereotypes about who and how the other is. Something I did not agree at all was that we fear about not real danger (the idea about the shepherd), because although there are a lot good things usually happening, there are some facts that are bad and we or our relatives have passed through that causes a lot impacts in our lives, so those are not fake fears. Maybe one of the needing to reduce our fear, is recognize it, validated and find strategies and actions to create new realities. There was also something I disagree, it was about that we should have spaces were politics does not have any influence, but that is something for another moment.

Me gustó mucho la charla ya me insentivó a explorar mentalmente aspectos de la sociedad y como la desconfianza colectiva afecta como nos comportamos y la vision que tenemos de aquellos que son diferentes a nosotros.

Considero que esta desconfianza se podria disminuir con el desarrollo de una cultura ciudadana colectiva en donde se promueva la tolerancia, justicia institucional y comprención hacia la realidad del otro, a traves de espacios que nos reunan como ciudadanos igualitarios dejando de lado ciertos comportamientos que podrian separanos insentivando ante todo el respeto hacia la persona.

Aún así es preciso resaltar que estas acciones dentro de una sociedad como la que vivimos hoy en día pueden ser bastante complicadas ya que la desconfianza masiva es algo que viene desde la historia que hemos atravesado como país, al final puede ser bastante dificil poner la mejilla con un gran riego de que alguien la golpee, acrecentando el miedo y la desconfianza.
