Minorities are finally getting rights and people are starting to be respected. HOWEVER, I feel our country is no where near where it should be. Other religions are mocked, made fun of and disrespected because they are different. Women are still not equal to men in the workforce. the LBGTQ+ community is still fighting for their rights as people. As a community, in my school, I feel the majority of students are kind. But people who are different are often excluded. This is not okay. People should be more open to others.
