Parker Wilson, a university professor who teaches music, one day picks up a dog of Japanese origin and Akita breed, whom he finds abandoned at a station. Since no one claims it, he takes it home. Parker is discovering the intimate bonds that can unite a person and an animal.
It is based on a true event about Hachiko, a Japanese dog, after the death of his master, he spent 9 years serving him at the station where his owner took the train daily to go to work.
The story was so moving and had such a social impact among the population that it was decided to create a bronze statue in honor of the faithful dog.
