1. Expression is different for each person and can be shown using your nature, ideas, cultures, feelings, and beliefs and values.

2. Expressing ourselves through our beliefs and values, culture, ideas, nature, and feelings makes us who we are today. 

3. We use expression in our everyday life with everything we do because every action we make reflects on our individual personalities. 

4. Expressing ourselves through action in the past, present and future, using different aspects of self-expressing to co-ordinate our lives. 

5. People express themselves in many different ways  depending on their point of view, When you express yourself you show how you feel and it can affect you and the people around you 

6. Expression can be shown in different ways individually and in communities with our spiritual differences through our thoughts, life and our creative talents and value. 

7. Peoples’ beliefs and values have an impact on the ways different people express themselves and the ways in which they live. 

8. Living things show their feeling through different manners of expression, which are changing and are a part of their everyday lives as a person with an identity. 

9. We express our individual identities through our talents, cultures, ideas, nature, feelings, and beliefs and values. 

10. Self-expression is dependent on how we as humans express our ideas, feelings, nature, beliefs and values every second of our lives.

11. People express themselves through a variety of ways including different aspects of the world within communities.

Action can be a whole range of things which means everyone can explore the idea of expression. Here is an idea of how it can be a statement without the word 'because': Our individuality can be expressed through our daily actions.   I also appreciate No. 5 and 6 with how the ways in which we express ourselves can  affect others and delving into aspects of spirituality. Would the Year 5 groups consider combining No 3, 5 & 6 to state something like: 'Expression is a channel for progress'.         No. 7 is also thought provoking and can explore how deep an impact beliefs and values have on our expressions. Could I humbly suggest that the word 'impact' be changed to 'influence' or 'shape'.   The Year 4 students are currently doing something really similar to No. 9. Please think of something else?  It's going to be a roller coaster ride, buckle up Year 5, and enjoy the ride. Are these beliefs affected by: age, nurture, socio-economic status, gender, community in which someone lives, degree of education.  You may need to dig deeper into what you want the inquiry into.  

How do you express yourself? How do you dance or dress?  Do your beliefs and values affect this or not?  Does your culture align with your dancing style? Just some thoughts!
