I have a cat named Louie and he likes to make these movements with his paws just before he falls asleep. I like to say that he's making bread but others like to say that when cats do this they are making biscuits. That sounds kind of funny doesn't it? Cat's don't make bread! Why do you think people might say that? What do you notice when you look at this clip below? If there's someone you are working with today, turn to them and share what you see. What are you wondering? When scientists see something unusual or difficult to understand, they call it a phenomena. Today we will discuss why we think cats do this with their paws and we'll also look at another behavior cats have - purring! Why do cats purr? That's today's question! What do you think?
