Endless inventory is important because with it there would be a need for music, people need to be able to relate to and feel the music in order to enjoy it. I think what Ratliff means by endless inventory is the way that we hear and interpret the music as well the kind of relationship that we have with the music that we listen to. I agree with his argument in that when you have relationship with your music it has a deeper meaning to you and you alone.

Zedd - Stay The Night ft. Hayley Williams

Listening to this song, is a struggle for me. Just because that I love it some much that every time that i hear it i just want to sing to it and dance to the beat. I just give me that sense of freedom that music should.

Listening to this piece of music, I felt what the artist was trying to tell us. I felt as if the music was limited and restricted at the beginning of the song. But as it continued it got a littler more lively and I couldn't help but tap my foot and dance from side to side in my chair.

This is one of my favorite plays. But listening to some of the music you can almost see what it is trying to tell you with out seeing the characters. This is the kind of relationship that I think Ratliff is talking about in this chapter.
