I think Holling might feel pressured about having to carry on his fathers business, i do not think he wants to join his fathers business as he has different interests than his father. I think sons and daughters who join businesses should be genuinely interested in the business or else they may not work hard and will be unhappy working for something they do not want. an advantage to this could be that it gives the sons and daughters more opportunities if they do want to join their family business as they will not have to start from scratch and will have people helping them.

i think Holling does not want to join his fathers business because he doesn't seem that interested in it. I think he will. I think it is good for sons and daughters to join in in their family business but only if they are interested in what type of business or else they wont enjoy what they are working at. The disadvantage is you have to work with your family and you might not be able to take as much time of as you would in a normal job cause its your own business. One advantage is you will earn more money.

I think mr,kowalski was very childish. I know its a competition and i know both of their incomes depend on it. But to take advantage of two innocent children and steal his competitions work was very childish and selfish and shows that he doesn't really have faith in his own work because if he really had faith in his he would've have bother to steal someone elses work. I think he withdrew it later on after seeing how upset the two kids he had taken advantage of were after he did it. I think as an adult it might not be a nice feeling to know you've really upset two young kids and especially if one is your child and the other isn't someone your close with and cant easily make it up to them. I think it was the right decision to clear his conscience after upsetting more than 3 people. He stole an idea that someone had worked hard one and then upset two kids so yeah it was the right decision to make.

I think that Mr. Kowalski was wrong to copy Mr. Hoodhood's design so that the school would sign him to renovate the new school. I think that what he did was immature and showed that he didn't believe his own design was good enough once he heard about Mr. Hoodhood's design. He is also setting a bad example for Meryl Lee and is teaching her that stealing other people's ideas for business is okay.
I think he later withdrew the design because Meryl Lee proved to him and he realised that what he did was not okay.
Yes I think that it was the right thing to do because he is finally showing a good example to Meryl Lee and is letting Mr. Hoodhood get the credit that he deserves for his design.

I think Holling doesnt want to join his fathers business as he doesnt seem interested most sons and daughters join their family businesses because they want to or their pressured into it. I think Holling is feeling that pressure and just has no interest whats so ever but he'll pick the decision hes comfortable with. One advantage is you dont have to go and look for a job the job is there for you and youll be in charge (your own boss). One disadvantage is your expected to know what to do your expected to know everything your expected to have everything under control

i think Mr Kowalski's actions were very poor and childish. I think copying Mr Hoodhood's idea was very wrong. If he wasn't confident in his own idea he should of came up with a new one and not have copied Mr Hoodhood just so he would get the school to sign him. I think if Mr Kowaslski had any sense he should withdraw his design and let Mr Hoodhood have it. He wouldn't have to withdraw his design if he didn't copy Mr Hoodhood and it would of been very fair. Mr Kowalski did do the right thing in the end.

in my opinion Mr. Kowalski was wrong to copy Mr. Hoodhood's idea. He knew Hoodhoods idea was superior so to have an advantage he stole the idea and presented the idea first, taking all of the credit. This was very unprofessional and out of line.
I think after Mr. Kowalski realised his wrong actions and the consequences his behavior had on both children. He knew he was at fault and had to take responsibility for wrongly stealing Hoodhoods
design
This was the right thing to do as he learned from his mistake. This is not how you achieve, but he did do the honest thing in the end.

I think that Mr. Kowalski was in the wrong regarding the architectural design for the new school because he had copied Mr. Hoodhood's idea for a newly designed school. I also think that it would set a bad example for Meryl Lee, as it showed her that it is ok to copy other peoples work and not do any yourself.
I think that he later withdrew his design because he felt bad for Mr. Hoodhood for stealing his idea for the new junior high school. I also think that he withdrew his design because he did not want to have a guilty conscience and wanted to show Meryl Lee a good example.
I believe that this was the right thing to do because he did not have any right to steal Mr. Hoodhood's designs for his own personal gain

I thought that it was wrong for him to steal Mr. Hoodhood's idea because it wouldn't have been fair on Mr. Hoodhood as he actually worked hard on the idea. I think the reason why Mr. Kowalski later withdrew the design is because he felt guilty for stealing his idea and it wouldn't have been fair on Mr. Hoodhood. Maybe he thought that he wouldn't want someone to steal his idea so why would he do it to someone else. I thought this was the right thing to do because it was never his idea to begin with so it was only fair that he would give it to the rightful person.

I think holling feels like he has to take over his fathers business only to please him he is nearly under pressure at such a young age to be thinking about a future career. I think holling does not want to join or take over his fathers business as he acts very uninterested in his fathers work because his father puts his work before his son he starts to dislike the work more and more. i think its a great push in life if the son or daughter takes high interest in the business as they ensured to have a job waiting for them in the future but they may want to do something else with their life and that can cause conflict between the parents.
