Biggest Teaching Career Challenge: The biggest challenge is to meet all the learning needs of students, especially those who are left behind in their learning when you only have limited time to plan, research, and find the effective tools that fit in aside from meeting my needs and report deadlines.

I teach an elementary class in an international school in Germany. 

My biggest challenge is to be able to debate and research about the theoretical basis of what I do daily. 

Very often I can find 'how to...' information, visually engaging templates or fancy activities. It is very rare I come across any information which is of substance and dig deep into what we do from multi perspectives. 

I find this is translated into very shallow understanding amongst our students. 

I also find teachers have a natural tendency to be 'sage on stage' and any sign of 'I don't know how to ...' is deemed to be a weakness amongst colleagues, management and parents. This attitude is also translated into the students. 

As language ability is a very visible  barrier to entry, it takes away the self agency of the learners therefore create inferiority complex or overcompensation. 

I am hoping this course will provide me with more in-depth understanding of the area of learning and also open me up to a new way of seeing. 

I believe my students' learning behaviours are as good as what I can model. I hope to create a better version of myself in the every moment of existence with authenticity for the greater good of the world. 

I like to swim, day dream and observe, read and meditate.
