I Liked ProQuest better than Gale OneFile because of how the search is set up. I was able to use my three keywords and the search feature was setup so you don't have to add the AND/OR feature. All you have to do is add your words to the search boxes.

The two databases I used was (EBSCohost) Research Library: Social Sciences and (ProQuest)Teacher Reference Center. The one I prefer is Research Library: Social studies because all the tools to help refine your search is very assessable. It also provides you with the option of listening to the article. It has HTML and PDF full text formats on the side in case you want a detailed record. You can translate the article. The "Ask A Librarian" tab is at the top, so accessing a librarian for help is much quicker on this database than the other one.

I felt that they were both easy to navigate and was pleased with the number of results from both. In EBSCOhost every single result was an academic journal except one book that wasn't as related as I wanted it to be.

It says I have to get access and have reached out to get access and I am still waiting to hear back. I was able to read the descriptions of some of the databases and based on our research project I would pick CQ Researcher and the Gale Academic Onefile. Hopefully I am able to access these databases soon because it is really holding me back. My name is Cynthia Ruiz.

I felt very comfortable working with EBSCO as it had the time period mentioned which helped me select the most recent and updated article and the article I chose was in Turkish so it translated it in my preferred language that is English. While using ProQuest, it displayed a lot of keywords which helped me skim read and select the relevant article for my research purpose.

Hello there! Out of the two databases i used i prefered the CQ to the Gale Academic online. The reason was because the CQ was much easier to navigate with a user friendly set up.

The two databases I chose for this assignment were GreenFile and Gale OneFile: Agriculture. I preferred using the GreenFile database because the search tool was a little more user friendly and I was able to find relevant source material very easily. I especially liked the SmartText Search tool which searches for keywords in the text if it cannot find a source with your key words in the title additionally, this database was easier to navigate than the Gale OneFile: Agriculture database. Also, the source I found on the Gale OneFile database did not have the complete citation information which was disappointing. - Alisa Garrett
