There is a small hole in the center of the boy's chest which was made with a Remington rifle. Four other boys are at the scene. Pile of guns on the ground near the dead boy. The boy's phone is laying beside him on the ground of the woods. Two of the four boys are crying, another seems unable to move due to shock, and the other one studies the pile of guns on the ground. None of the boys are owning up to using the Remington rifle.   • Whoever commits the crime shall be imprisoned with or without labor for not more than five years, fined more than five thousand dollars, or both.
  • If the victim was under the age of ten years, the offender will be imprisoned at hard labor, without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence, for not less than two or more than five years.
