         <description><![CDATA[<div>Izard theory- 10 basic emotions, cross cultural, present in infancy, all other emotions are a combination of the original 10. 6 basic are joys anger disgust surprise and sadness.<br>Exman's theory- facial muscles are used to indicate emotions that are universal<br>Learned motives- social motives learned through observation of others. Aggression is the intent to inflict harm or pain. Connection to learned helplessness<br>Achievement- need to excel or overcome obstacles. Aids in future achievement.<br>Stimulus motives- unlearned motives that encourage exploration of world.<br>Levels of glucose can encourage or discourage hunger<br>Grelin hormone increases food intake.<br>Leptin hormone decreases need for food intake.<br>Sodium stimulates thirst<br>Hypertonicity is cellular dehydration&nbsp;<br>Hypotension is high pressure baroreceptors that are released in hypotension to indicate hydration</div>]]></description>
