         <description><![CDATA[<div>Alex (2015) suggests feedback is helpful to developing confidence.<br><strong>Learning Activity:</strong><br>-Everyone student writes down a honest compliment about each student in the class and puts it in a jar.  The "jar of compliments" is then shared with the student, picking out one thing that he/she agrees with and one thing they found surprising.  </div>]]></description>

According to Pirie (2012), you should make an extra effort to maintain a confident attitude when issues arise because it will contribute to positive moral among the team and demonstrate that you are prepared for set backs.<br><strong>Learning Activity:</strong></div><div>-Pair up with a partner and discuss a time when you kept your cool during a time of crisis.  Discuss how this made others feel and how you felt about yourself.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pirie (2012) advises those who wish to develop confidence to take an anticipate minor setbacks when working toward a common goal.  <strong>Learning Activity:</strong><br>-Working in groups of 3, do an improv skit about a project that is going awry.  For example, a legal team working on a death row case.  One group member will be the leader and the others will be team members who present setbacks. Try to keep the project moving as long as you can.  Have fun, rotate roles if necessary to keep it going.  How long can you "keep calm and carry on?".   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Penn State Psych blog uses the example of Martin Luther King Jr.'s confidence exuded despite the many obstacles he faced.  It is a reminder of how important it is to have confidence in the adversity.<br><strong>Learning Activity:</strong><br>-You have to watch this video of Kid President telling the Martin Luther King Jr. story!  Upon watching it journal about your reaction.  Perhaps think about your own obstacles and how you can use the example of Luther King Jr. (and Kid President!) to help you overcome your obstacles with confidence.
