-100-metre high iceberg at the fishing village of Greenland is slowly melting and it is threatening  the village population 
- the global sea level rise also increased that affect the low-lying area at risk of waterlogging, overflowing drains and extreme floods.

  • The Kyoto Protocol (1997), signed by President Bill Clinton and the leaders of other countries, stipulated a higher reduction of GHGs by the world's developed nations, however, the U.S. Senate voted no as he declared that’s unfair because it require to spend hundred billions of dollars to reduce the GHGs and this is very challenging. On the other hand, liberals and conservatives argued that U.S. economy would actually prosper if the nation became a leader in the development of eco-technologies. (Annanth, 2013)
  • The use of plastic bags can be reduced by replaced it with biodegradable plastic, paper bag or recycle bag. But this will also faced some obstacles because the cost to make the biodegradable plastic,paper bag or recycle bag is higher compared to the plastic bag.
