         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Original idea for what i wanted to do was a series of patterns on each side of the polyhedron until i was redirected to making something more interesting which led to me making this beautiful nature scene between two mountains.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the process of drawing the landscape was rather time consuming due to how long the polyhedron when unfolded is, then the inking process took even longer due to the precision needed but overall it came together really well.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Thanks to my parents for advice i decided that a vinyl record is the most creative while also not being impossibly difficult or force me to use techniques i didnt know. A happy medium. However a quarter rest was really difficult to make out of clay so i decided on the note on the far right instead for the final project.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Using the base of a banding wheel for the main vinyl record shape and a can for the middle section, which resulted in this almost perfect clay vinyl record, I also used a needle tool and a pointed rib to make the lines on the record as well giving it a lot ore detail, unfortunately while attaching the walls one of them cracked off but with some super glue and paint it was fixed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>i decided to go with a blue center since its my favorite color and the color for the pieces was difficult since i couldnt have the same color for the pieces as the colors for the board so i went with white and green which looks pretty good.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For this project we weren't allowed to have any sticking out parts whether it was a limb or a item Glen was holding, due to the integrity of the clay wouldn't hold against gravity. these circumstances influenced my decision to make him in such a compact position.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>glen took a long time to shape and put together, however while difficult it was still straight forward, I also deviated from the sketches slightly by making his arms go behind him instead of on his knees so that way he's more stable. Sadly however one of his legs and several fingers and toes broke off during the drying process but with some glue he was fixable</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Slab Mug project allowed for the use of stamps to make repeating patterns across the mugs walls, so after careful consideration of each type of stamp i chose the starry and swrils stamps due to their opposing shape, smooth and wavy compared to sharp and bumpy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>While i dont have any pictures of the slab mug unglazed i can say that making the mug was rather difficult due to the rolling out of the slab, stamping on the pattern, and rolling it into a cylinder without cracking. it was very time consuming and led to the clay drying to leather hardness near the end of my work on the project.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The glazing process was rather simple i used seaweed over temmoku which made this very green and almost swampy color, i think that this color is perfect for the mug despite my word choice to describe the color.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Now, the first place i deviated from the sketches was making one solid beam that would run through the middle acting as the candle wax and base bar. This gave more structural integrity. the circles were also rather difficult to make due to them needing 8+ tabs.</div>]]></description>
